Inmate Reintergration and Prison Population

Take away the official ties of the characters in movies like Ronin, 2 Guns, 007 Movies and you're left with an ordinary citizen offender.

What is incarceration?  Incarceration is being controlled.  Controlling what is heard and what is seen.
In the United States people are incarcerated for breaking the law.

How are these offenders treated after time has been served?  At the mercy of the justice system these offenders are given the opportunity to reintegrate into society by means of strict programs and constant monitoring.  Think of the parable of the shepard disabling the lost sheep.

How are these inmate reintegration programs similar or different across state lines in the United States?

Who are these people in the modern day balance of power between politics and social justice?  Are they merely a muse to be martyred and ignored by being labeled as radical?  Reverend Al Sharpton, Melisa Harris Perry, and Cornel West just to name a few.

The most powerful voices and people of the most beautiful shades of brown bring messages that are consumed without realizing.  As the month of February approaches I wonder where momentum has been lost.

How does that parable rest with you now?
